More Snow In Forecast

Winter has not given up yet. Weather forecast shows we should be receiving snow off and on for the next week. We received about a 1/2 inch of new snow last night and are expecting more; not a lot of snow but more.

With weather temperatures reaching close to forty degrees over the last two weeks, most people were thinking winter maybe be over and we are heading into an early spring.  This may still hold true but for now… Snow is in the forecast.

The light dusting we received last night added a beautiful blanket covering tree branches giving the area a look similar to the beginning of a winter season. However, with blue sky already this morning, it is more like an early spring snow.

Valentines Day Weekend Is Here!

As in years past, Valentines Day Weekend is normally celebrated the weekend before February 14th just as much as it is celebrated the weekend after. This is why, here at Featherwinds we celebrate Valentines Day everyday, all month long.

Wedding Dates

We have noticed an increase number of weddings being scheduled for this summer. Traditionally wedding dates are set about a year in advance, however this does not seem to be the case for this summer. Many wedding venues have stated they too have noticed an increase in “last minute” weddings; meaning reserving a venue only five to six months from the set wedding date.

If your wedding date is important to you, please do not wait to choose and reserve your wedding facility. Outdoor weddings have become more popular, an option not all wedding facilities can offer. This makes securing your wedding venue even more important.

Remember, once you choose your wedding facility, the wedding theme and wedding plans can start to come together.
